  Abstract:

  Syed Ahmed Ahmad Khan is considered as the harbinger of modern education amongst Muslim community of Indian sub-continent. Muslim scholars generally maintain the unanimous belief that it was due to Sir Syed’s industrious toils that the spirit of modern education had been imbued in Muslim community who were hitherto aligned with traditional education. Sir Syed propagated and pursued the ideas of modern education as it was to him the sine quo non for the development and progress of nation. He believed that education is such a critical element of a society that plays a vital role in the construction of thought, belief and ideology of a nation. A society may eventually decay or even collapse if this aspect is not developed in the proper manner and in accordance with the demands of time. Sir Syed was a well-known towering personality who spent his entire life working to transport Muslim community to the novel realms of education. All his efforts were to make Muslims capable to cope with the modern day challenges. The current work is a modest attempt to provide readers with a thorough understanding of Sir Syed's educational ideas, his initial objectives of establishing educational institution, approaches to educational reform from the basic level and efforts to bring the various fields of knowledge together under a single roof.

  Title:

  Developing English as a Second Language Learning Textbook with Islamic Perspective for Grade 1

  Abstract:

  Scholars from the field of Islamization of Knowledge have written extensively on the need to Islamise the teaching of English as a second language (ESL) to Muslim students. Inspired by this ideal, the authors have attempted to develop chapter 1 of grade 1 textbook to teach ESL with Islamic Perspective. The research began with literature review on the discussion of Islamization in general and then specific to teaching ESL with Islamic Perspective. Literature was reviewed on the criteria to write textbooks and an informal but careful study of the Cambridge ESL Grade 1 syllabus and Oxford ESL Grade 1 syllabus was conducted. An earlier proposed and qualitatively tested model of Islamisation was deployed to Islamise the teaching of ESL and develop the contents of chapter 1 of grade 1 textbook in line with standard ESL syllabus with respect to reading, listening, writing, speaking and grammar skills. It is hoped that this humble effort will encourage further research into the field of Islamising the teaching of ESL for Muslim students.

  Abstract:

  This universe, which is called Universe in English, literally means a unique species. It has always been the center of human attention. Initially, it was considered that it might be the only species of its kind. And the existence of another such universe is not possible under any circumstances. In general, there is an organized and organized system of cosmic objects and treasures between them. Which is created by the creator of the universe. In the beginning, man thought that this universe is limited only to our planet, therefore, the center of all his efforts has been this earth, sky and man. Human imaginations kept them wandering around the things that when, where, or Ruks created this universe? How does it work? What are the limits of this universe? Can human consciousness reach the height where the correct understanding of the universe is possible? When this universe was created, under what principles has it evolved? What is the end point of this universe in relation to the rules and regulations that reveal the different destinations of this evolutionary journey?In the history of human sciences, there are many theories about the existence of the universe that describe the countless conditions of its beginning. Initially, the hypothesis was established that this universe is not completely solid and unchanging, but with movement. It is also expanding. According to the careful assumptions of recent scientific research, about fifteen billion years have passed since the birth of this universe. What was it before?Science is completely unable to answer this. Therefore, the solution of this mystery is possible only with complete faith in this statement of the Almighty.

  An Abridged Study of Jurist’s Views regardingMutual Business

  Abstract:

  There are different aspects of the distribution of profit in the Islamic Economic System. A keen reviewis required to evaluate the accuracy of this profit distribution. This article examinessome of these aspects. Islamic banks keep a portion of the profit as a reserve but thisprofit is not given to the client who is leaving the bank, instead, it is awarded to anew client who is replacing the old one. This study suggests conferring this profit tothe old client as it is earned by his money, not by the wealth of a new depositor. Allconditions of partnership also show the same view. This study will also providedetailed Sharī‘ah aspects of 'Mutual business' practiced in Islamic banks,which is mostly the combination of 'Ijarah' and 'Bai'. It is also necessary for banksto provide details of profit and loss to the depositors; to inform them about thetransactions in which negligence of the bank is involved and not to make thedepositors habitual to get the profit forever. This study also condemns theviewpoint to provide a guarantee to the depositor for their principal amount.In this article, it is described that the people own mutual business(money, luggage) and they all can do their business mutually and they are partners in both `profit & loss`. In recent times it is a custom that people are trading and doing business with cooperation. Muslim scholars especially Maulana Ahmad Raza Khan have described the merits and demerits of mutual business very well which we will discuss in the article.

  Abstract:

  Literally Amr' means: the order, the affair and the authority, and from it is the saying of God Almighty: “God has the command.” And technically, it is the legitimate command issued by God and His Messenger, or in the sense: commanded by the law. What is required is obedience to the command by the act of being commanded, or invoking action with words on the side of summoning action with word or whatever takes its place on the side of arrogance. Summon means: request. The real command is to summon by saying and demand the supplies of the real command. And the summoning without explicit saying is metaphorical. Action may be called without saying. And it does not require certainty at all. And the matter has a formula that denotes it by itself. It really calls the obligation and a metaphor for other meanings. Among the meanings of the command: obligation, permissibility, desirability, settlement, incapacity, harness, insult, honor, threat, supplication, news. As for the matter with regard to the jurists about Amr': their purpose is to prove that it is not obligatory to make up and repeat, so when it is said: (This prayer is correct); it should not be returned and spent. Hence, their purpose is to overthrow the judiciary. As for the speakers: their purpose in Amr' is to prove his agreement with the command of the Lawgiver; When it is said: (This prayer is valid); What is meant is that it is in accordance with the command and the Sharia. Hence, they knew health as necessary and appropriate for their purpose. We are showing here in the sense of rhetoric only.
